What is blue light?
Blue light (visible light) is part of sunlight and is visible to human eyes. It is blue light that makes the sky look blue.
It is necessary for maintaining health as in adjusting the biological clock and is also used for phototherapy in healthcare.
Blue light is also emitted from electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, PCs, and televisions. Heavy use of these devices could affect health, disrupt sleep patterns, cause dry eyes, or cause eye irritation. Therefore, it is recommended to use blue-light-blocking glasses to protect eyes from blue light.
The same goes for skin. Blue light is said to have the potential to deteriorate skin barrier function, accelerate aging, such as spots and wrinkles, and impair skin functions.

The well-known UV scattering agents are titanium oxide and zinc oxide. Ceric oxide, made from natural mineral, cerium, blocks a wide range of light from blue light (visible light) to UV rays.

What does "UV absorber-free" mean?
There are "UV absorbers" and "UV scattering agents" to prevent UV rays.
“UV absorbers” absorb UV rays and release them from the skin by converting them into different energies such as heat. As a result, UV rays do not pass through the skin.
It does not make skin absorb UV rays or make skin heated, but rarely, irritation may occur depending on the constitution or skin sensitivity.
“UV scattering agents” release the UV rays by reflecting them on the skin's surface and prevent them from infiltrating into skin.
“UV scattering agents” are said to give less skin damage, thus recommended for people with sensitive skin.
